Samsung Galaxy S6 Android 7 Nougat No Full HD resolution?

Hello
I have Android 7 Nougat the XEF firmware loaded me and flashed via Odin,
also boils down but my screen resolution is still 1440p covered with nougat I had only FullHD to save battery when s7 you can even set the display resolution while S6 does not go well then or I have flashed wrong?

the option exists in the settings?

no, unfortunately not. and by soner info app is also quite normal high 1440p resolution.

the galaxy s7 from colleagues we also flashed grade and there is the setting exists. the galaxy not s6.

You mean demand on the fast, high resolution remains at S6 so as usual?
I want it to be right, because my eyes have become accustomed to the sharp image.

Greeting jori

So this feature is simply not implemented for the S6.

well the difference to full HD would not notice me, I would even take the HD resolution when the battery would save more, but anscheind's will for the setting Galaxy s6 not give.
Degree nor the Android 7 XSG flashed no FullHD.

min here at 4:16. sees man again with someone else that does not exist the setting. Too bad.

I can not see anything

A circumstance which should lead us to believe that a change of the resolution could have a significant impact on battery power? Only when the number of pixels used would be reduced, it would have a real impact on battery power, only then would the center (or just in the corners) of the display the reduced number unused pixels are almost like a frame shown with a mini desktop. This would look really stupid and the 'useability' certainly no pleasure. but I think the resolution is the function only downscaled while maintaining the desktop size to the number of pixels in the resources used would necessarily but hardly change.
For me, the function does not make sense!

The function does not seem to be for the S6 :( I also wanted because I would like scaled down my resolution.

Try it out this app:

Samsung Galaxy S6 Android 7 Nougat No Full HD resolution?

The setting makes sense, therefore, because the system would only charge full HD and thus the power consumption goes down.

In theory, would always make sense, but I see no difference in my S7, when I put it on HD ...

The battery consumption increases with increasing resolution only for content that will be rendered. Whether the artificial downsampling helps to FullHD there, I doubt it.
