Gapps can not be installed after upgrading to CM14.1

Hello community,
am new here and quite a novice - so please forgive my "antifachmännische expression" and if this thread should have landed in the wrong forum ....:(

I installed yesterday on my Nexus 4, the nightly version of the CyanogenMod 14.1 - up to here "perfect", but since I extreme "Google addict" am, I want to reinstall the Gapps so contacts, calendar entries, tasks, PlayStore, etc. are capable of running and synchronized again.
However, the error code that the store would probably not be enough came - even the nano-installation would be too great - now I am bent ... :'(
Does anyone have any idea how this could work? Or now I have to go back to CM 13 ??
Thanks in advance and all the 'helpers' may feel depressed ...
Frank

What gapps have you taken?

Have downloaded before?

What recovery?

How much space is it still available?

For each Android version is Gapps own. Always make sure that you have the right ones.

Hello Frank,

Welcome to our forum :)

I've moved your thread times in the right to your device root Unterforum ;)

Hello Chris,
- OPEN Gapps for Platform "POOR", Android 7.1, variant "nano" to "full"
- I work with TWRP Recovery as
- Did down with "full" started and previously downloaded the files on the PC and copied via USB to the phone .... From "full" after "micro"....
- "nano" I had only then (downloaded nache on cell phone and tried
Space I just do not know - am currently without access ...
Thanks in advance...
P.S. According to .log file fail me to "nano installation" just 15 MB (Thinking) - one can perhaps somehow repartition ??? Current Free Space = 242600

The nano also have more than 100 mb or ??

So how much free memory you have before installing (Thinking)

Hello Mia,
after this "unzip" He obviously requires nearly 250 MB ...

Do you have before flashing the ROM gewiped the partition / system?

Hmm .. Do just come a little space on the phone ..

Yes, but usually when I flash it clean, but you have to 16GB available?

So you've got a partition or (Thinking)

250MB could have come back and 400 the Rome or ??

....äähm - as I said, I am newbie!

The thing with the Wipe I would have to make time. Sorry, I should have known.

A wipe is always necessary when changing the ROM. So from a developer to another. Original on CM. Or CM on Viper etc.

When updating a ROM not Wipe is necessary. From original to original. CM CM 13 to 14 etc.

However, when updating a factory reset may be required. Which is often used inflationary, mostly it is sufficient to remove cache or data from one / two willdlaufenden apps.

Less what you or on sdcard storage did ..

With an Android version jump same Rome it is better to also make a clean flash ..

I have from "necessary" written.
you write "should",

I write: would not be bad :-D

If you do it that way. ;)

  • Full Wipe (Wipe Data / System / Cache)
  • FLASHE the latest ROM version
  • FLASHE the right Gapps
  • reboot
  • Fingers crossed
  • looking forward
    :)

You have to my knowledge, the "pico" take Gapps. CM14.1 has come a bit too fat ...
