Samsung Galaxy S2 – memory full? Install Galaxy S2, any updates / apps more

Hi Guys,

I ungerootet a Galaxy S2 with Android version 4.1.2. On my cell phone I have recently been the problem that I can not install new apps or updates more is not enough memory is free if.

under settings > Memory can be found as follows
Device memory 211 MB 2 GB free
USB memory 4 of 11 GB free
SD Card 3 of 7 GB free

unfortunately I do not know how I move files from the device memory to the USB memory or SD card. Under Applications you can slide back and forth only between USB memory and SD card. I have already uninstalled but some apps, the problem still occurs (these apps were then probably seems to USB or SD card). I think probably the system apps like Google+ vollmüllen the important memory but this I can not uninstall yes.
Would be grateful for tips!

Best regards

I have now found the solution itself. here's the solution if jmd else has the problem again:

"Enter the following combination in the number field:
* # 9900 # and then the menu item "Delete dumpstate / logcat" Select and confirm.
After that, the memory is free again.
After updating to 4.1.2 to internal log files inflate apparently until the internal memory is full. After a while, if necessary, the key combination to enter again, but with this workaround can live quite well."

Hello Peter Pan!

Welcome here in the Forum.

I've moved your thread times in the appropriate area. ;)

Since your problem is now resolved, I put your thread to set at "answered", :)

Hello, I unfortunately have the same problem with my Galaxy S2. All available apps are moved to the SD card, the cache is empty and still, I get the automatic update of the Samsung Apps, the message that the device memory is almost full, and some system functions may be out of service.
Have now following the instructions in this thread on the phone keypad code # 9900 # typed plus the green "Receiver key" depressed, but I come here not because it appears the message "Connectivity issues or invalid MMI code", But I am connected to our Wi-Fi, so it can not be due to a lack of connection.
What am I doing wrong and how can I solve my problem?
Thank you!

¿One probably helps that thread?

Thank you for this,
he was very helpful to me. I was previously a bit desperately with the problem and had already tried everything.
Today again something Googled and immediately gelandent on the right side :)

You forgot the asterisk.
You must enter: * # 9900 #
After that you need: dumpstate Delte / logcat
Click. Then it works.
Did it myself just tried and loved it! This problem has in fact (if not months) has brought me in recent weeks almost to despair. I'm so thrilled and surprised that it really worked!

Many many thanks to Peter Pan.

Why To upload you have not CyanogenMod on your s2 then did you kitkat advantage or lollipop her

Hi Peter Pan,

Thanks for the note. but my memory I was able to just 100 MB, from 1.7 to 1.6 GB, empty. My device is not rooted.

Does anyone have any idea how this can continue ... empty?

Would be nice for installations and further updates no longer work.

Thanks and LG
John

Why To upload you do not CyanogenMod on your s2 you have then the
kitkat advantage or having lollipop

Probably because they are afraid of losing personal data, etc. when flashing.

I also had a few weeks ago, the problem with the full system memory (S2 Android 4.1.2)
This led, among others to the fact that at times
- Camera app did not work properly,
- Unable to access the gallery,
- App updates were not possible.
After rebooting it was usually for a short time.
However, I am opposed by "Reset to factory settings" and or "rooten",
The problems are still very often after a short time back to light.

I have worked with several clean-Apps tries to clean the system memory. That brought only short-term success.
Also * # 9900 # helped only in individual cases.

Now I have in another forum of an app "Android Assistant" read.
With this app, I could see the internal memory of a 100% occupation rules right away (!?) Be reduced to approximately 26%.
was Auffälig that the largest chunk of "System failure files" duration. I could not see before that.
Art can adjust the Android Assistant lot so that cleaning takes place regularly and automatically.

Now everything is back as it should!

After the error occurred but after a few days, I have continued to search for a solution.
And I've become found it.
- First, I have my Samsung 2 simply rooted to the Framaroot APK v1.9.3 with one click.
- Then I with "Cache Mate for Root Users free" emptied the cache.
Immediately everything worked and worked for 3 weeks and still.

You forgot the star.
